 Christophe holds a Professional #1 rating by both the U.S.P.T.A (1996) and the P.T.R. (1986). He has competed and coached at every level including juniors, collegiate, and professional.
Christophe has been appointed to be the next USPTA Florida District #9 President in 2011.
He is currrently a board member of the Indian River Tennis Foundation, a foundation dedicated to raise funds for underpriveliged juniors within Vero Beach, Florida to further their tennis and scholastic careers.
Christophe holds a B.S. Business degree from Franklin Pierce University, (1987).
He is currently the Director of Tennis at Grand Harbor Golf and Tennis (since 1995) during the winter months, and at Walloon Lake Country Club in Walloon, Michigan from the Memorial Day to Labor Day (since 2007).
During the summer months he has previously been the Director of Tennis at The Lloyd Neck Bath Club in Cold Spring Harbor, New York from 1996 to 1999. From there he went on to become the Tennis Director of the Country Club of Detroit in Grosse Pointe, Michigan from 2000 to 2006.
In 1987 he was the original founder and Director of the Sugarbush Tennis School which was rated as one of the World's Best Tennis Schools by Tennis Magazine. Roger Cox, Senior Travel Editor for Tennis Magazine, described the Sugarbush Tennis School as the most dynamic and innovative tennis school in the country.
He is the author of Tennis Atlas: The Ultimate Doubles Program, a 200-page tennis teaching manual geared to help teaching professionals provide a comprehensive knowledge of the common fundamentals of doubles strategy to their students.
Cody Hunter has been a member of the Tennis Oxygen team since 2009. He currently is the webmaster, graphic designer, and design consultant of the site. He also helps Christophe translate and edit his Francophone tendencies on a daily basis.
Cody is a graduate of the University of Michigan class of 2009. He was an instructor for the North Country Junior Develoment Program in Northern Michigan from 2005 to 2007. He is the head professional during the summer months at Walloon Lake Country Club since 2006. He has also been an assistant professional at Grand Harbor Golf and Tennis in Vero Beach, Florida since 2009.
