One of the most difficult challenges of teaching strokes and doubles strategy has been to instill the proper building blocks that allow students to grow to the next level. While no one improves overnight, learning to play with anAdvanced Foundation will help you build and grow your game to the next level avoiding the proverbial “taking one step back before taking two steps forward”.
The good news is that there is no such thing as the perfect swing. That is so well illustrated at the top level of the game, where Nadal and Federer could not be any more different in their ball striking methods but yet share many common denominators in every stroke. While there are many elements of strokes and doubles strategy I do not expect my 2.0 to 5.0 students to duplicate, each stroke and strategy bears basic fundamentals that everyone needs to integrate to keep improving.
