The forehand does not take the ball down the middle!

If you are guilty of using "The forehand takes the ball down the middle strategy", let me help you clear up the confusion.

Where you or your partner have hit the previous ball, will always determine who becomes responsible for the ball hit between the both of you.

If either of you have hit the ball cross court, the player standing diagonally from the opponent returning the ball becomes the one responsible for the ball hit between the both of you.

Player A hits the ball cross court . PLayer B must follow the ball and shadow the baseline player about to hit the ball	Player A is now in position to handle the ball down the middle while player B shifts to follow the ball
